Applications / Air Filtration
Filtering out airborne contaminants not only achieves a healthier environment for workers, it also protects sensitive electronic controls and other equipment. Processes such as welding and machining generate fine smoke, fumes, and mist, and mixing operations often release some airborne powders. Even sanding and finishing processes may generate large amounts of fine, floating dust. Effective filtration of airborne contaminants may be achieved by a regular whole-room air-exchange using free-hanging air cleaners, by capturing contaminants with hoods, arms, or containment booths directly at the industrial process, or by combining both ambient air filtration units and source capture equipment. Clean Air Consultants will be happy to help you design an optimal system to meet your air quality goals.
